Nuclear Ready Check

An indicative screening of organisational prerequisites. It is not a certification, audit or assessment of nuclear suitability.

Does your company use a formalised quality management system?

Consider procedures, responsibilities, audits and records.

Have you already assessed ISO 19443 or equivalent nuclear supply-chain requirements?

This check does not replace a conformity assessment.

Do you formally manage non-conformities, causes and corrective actions?

The key point is verifiable closure of actions.

Traceability

Can you reconstruct materials, components, revisions and key steps of an order?

Assess your real ability to produce evidence, not just whether you have an ERP.

Documentation

Is there formal control of document versions, approvals and distribution?

Procedures, drawings, specifications, evidence and revisions.

Suppliers

Do you qualify and periodically reassess suppliers using documented criteria?

Include critical sub-suppliers.

Competence

Are staff competencies mapped with verifiable training and expiry dates?

Include critical roles, training and authorisations.

Cybersecurity

Do you have formal cybersecurity controls for systems, access and incidents?

Relevance depends on the type of supply.

Organisation

Are there explicit practices for reporting, escalation and safety culture?

This does not measure “nuclear safety culture”; it only checks selected organisational prerequisites.

Experience

Do you have experience in highly regulated supply chains or high-quality-requirement industries?

For example energy, aerospace, rail, medical or special processes.

The result highlights areas worth exploring. Actual requirements depend on your supply-chain role, customer, activity and applicable framework.
